I've had the pleasure of working with Lauren for 12 months on a sophisticated midstream project. From the first meeting with Lauren, several things immediately stood out; her high intelligence, unshakable positive attitude, and immediate grasp of the system's impacts on the engineering team.

Within days, Lauren streamlined the interface between the client's EDMS and her role as the conduit for navigating it. She explained and shaped something very confusing into something easy to follow and understand. She then established several excellent systems which greatly enhanced the coherence and internal workflows.

Lauren worked within our team as the Document Control Lead and developed and implemented Secure’s processes for managing all project, engineering, and operations documentation.

During her time at Secure, Lauren proved to be a highly effective and invaluable team member. With little in place before her, she implemented a document control system that was industry-leading in our view. Recognition of her work within our group also led to her involvement in corporate-wide initiatives that required the same level of expertise to set up and manage documents such as Management of Change, Health and Safety Management System, and Preventive Maintenance.

Lauren is extremely driven, efficient, and detailed. Her best quality, however, is that she’s an incredible person – caring, patient, sincere, with high moral standards, and a dedicated teammate that puts her all into everything she does.

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren at two companies; Pengrowth Energy and SECURE Energy. I first worked with her at Pengrowth, where she supported me directly in my role as the Chief Inspector and various other departments and programs within the organization to meet their document control needs.

Soon after I moved to SECURE, the organization identified a need for a more structured and enhanced document control strategy. It was decided to start with the Technical Services group and gradually evolve into a larger corporate role. Lauren was quickly identified as the outstanding candidate. Upon starting at SECURE, she immediately and positively impacted the organization by implementing a drawing management tool and quality control records system that received high praise from internal users and regulatory auditors.
